What Areas Can Be Treated?
In Savannah Morpheus8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from sub-dermal renewal. Areas of the face that exhibit wrinkles, discoloration, or acne scarring are suitable for treatment. The most commonly treated areas include the lower face and neck. One of the benefits of Morpheus8 is its colorblind technology affords it to be used on any skin type.
Is it safe?
The radio-frequency energy used in Morpheus8 heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled way to revitalize the collagen. Morpheus8 does require local anesthesia, but there are no incisions, no scarring, and minimal downtown.
How many treatments will I need?
Before receiving Morpheus8 Savaanah patients will meet with Dr. Minton for an initial consultation. Along with medical history, Dr. Minton will also develop a Morpheus8 treatment plan for you. Depending on the treatment regime, you can expect to have between one to three sessions. Morpheus8 can be used in the same treatment session or a few days after other treatments.
When can I expect results?
Visible results can be seen within a few days, but most patients experience the most noticeable results after three weeks. Improvements continue for up to three months after treatment.
What can I expect after the procedure?
Dr. Minton will advise individual patients on post-procedure requirements. The great thing about Morpheus8 is it requires little to no downtime. Makeup can be applied typically one to two days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment with slight redness for up to one week; however, both will fade and there’s no permanent scarring. Patients also should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended patients use sunscreen every day.
